Service Description
What you'll learn: -Week 1- How to create cabochons using fused glass, in a mold or with sheet glass -Week 2- How to use copper wire to create a setting and bail for a cabochon to create a pendant What's included: -Use of molds and kilns to create glass cabochons -Handout with detailed information on wire wrapping tools and techniques, as well as a resource list What to bring or buy (all materials can be purchased here if so desired): -COE96 glass, frit, dichroic glass, etc. to create your cabochons -Dead soft copper wire in two gauges (recommended: square or round in 16-21, and round in 24-28 OR half round in 18-21) -Chain nose, round nose, and nylon jaw pliers, and flush cutters/nippers No experience necessary. Projects can be brought home the day of class week 2.
